Principal's Corner

Dear Friends,
We have had a terrific year so far with many engaging learning experiences, events, fun activities,  and a variety of field trips to provide extended learning experiences for our students.  I have enjoyed reconnecting with our returning families and welcoming our new families.  There is much more planned for our school community this year- our Halloween parade, our Annual Fall Harvest Carnival, our Holiday Singalong Celebration, many Dad's Club events, our Seeds of Success Auction and our Pancake Breakfast, to name a few.  Our students are continuing to participate in a number of engaging learning experiences, some of them are- Outdoor Education Classes, Common Core Curriculum, physical education, science, experiential field trips, Kimochi lessons, and Caring School Community.  I look forward to having the BEST YEAR YET at DFES!

Yours in education,
Michelle Chang
